A new era in female leadership has been launched at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) with Women Empowerment at RSM, or WE@RSM.
WE@RSM was formed by Dr. Dianne Bevelander in response to the need for business schools to encourage women to empower other women in business networks and high-performance environments. “Business schools need to transform aspects of their MBA curricula to help women develop and sustain trusted and diverse professional networks” says Dr. Bevelander, and RSM is doing just this.
WE@RSM is an initiative which encourages women empowering other women in business networks and high-performance environments. Lessons on the way to the top need to be shared and nurtured between women to enable more women advancing and eventually dispelling the ‘glass ceiling’ myth. The initiative aims to strengthen the co-operative business and networking culture amongst and between women, at an equal rate as women-men and all male networks, in order to surpass all our heights and achieve true diversification of our boardrooms.
WE@RSM includes an informative website www.rsm.nl/we and interactive exchange in the group WE@RSM on LinkedIn. So join RSM women heading to the top and continue the conversation all the way to the boardroom!
