It is with deep regret that we have learned of the passing of our dear colleague Professor Arnick Boons, Endowed Professor of Management Accounting and Control.

It is with deep regret that we have learned of the passing of our dear colleague Professor Arnick Boons, Endowed Professor of Management Accounting and Control.
While Arnick has been seriously ill for a while, his death strikes us as too soon. Arnick has been connected with Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) since 1986. He was named professor in 2002 and played an important role in the research domain of Accounting & Control.
We will remember Arnick as someone with typical Rotterdam humour, and a loyal and dedicated colleague. He was very student-oriented and strove for continuously high-quality education. Even during his illness he kept in close contact. He will be dearly missed by us all.
Our thoughts are with his wife Monique, their children, his parents and relatives.
