Today, the Financial Times published its 2012 Global Masters in Management ranking. Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, strengthens its position in the top ten of this leading international MSc ranking and moves up from a 10th to a 7th place.

According to the 2012 evaluation, RSM’s MSc in International Management programme is amongst the global top 4 for international course experience and highly ranked for international mobility. It has one of the most diverse faculty and student bodies, and offers excellent employment prospects for graduates with 95% of our graduates finding a job within three months of graduation. Moreover, the programme received a very positive review with regard to value for money and placement success.

“This ranking is now published for the 8th time. While the global MSc landscape is continuously growing and becoming more diverse and competitive, RSM is happy to move up again in the very top tier”, says Professor Eric Waarts, dean of RSM’s MSc Programmes in response to the publication of the ranking. “These results show that our MSc in International Management programme offers an excellent start to an international management career. The programme combines a stimulating intellectual and international environment with the opportunity to gain experiences that closely mirror real business situations: working and collaborating in diverse groups, managing projects, and conducting independent research. Upon graduation, our students have a good understanding of management theory, but also an international mind set, the ability to speak several languages, and experience of global business. These elements are reflected in the results of this important ranking.”

Also of note is the fact that CEMS, the global alliance of 26 business schools RSM is a member of, continues to be very highly ranked on a third spot. The CEMS/MIM emerges once more as an excellent programme when it comes to international experience, research and value for money.

The full results of the survey are published today in the print and online editions of the Financial Times – you can find them here.
