Two out of three theses shortlisted for the category best master thesis in the Digital Communications Awards 2015 are written by graduates from the MSc in Marketing Management programme at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). The winner will be announced in Berlin in September 2015.

Marketing research

RSM graduates Paola Ivanova and Sophia Blichfeldt are both nominated for the category best master thesis. Paola Ivanova, who now works as an associate project manager at H. J. Heinz Company, was chosen for her thesis LinkedIn advertising: in search of quality leads. Ivanova completed RSM’s MSc in Marketing Management programme cum laude in 2014.

Sophia Blichfeldt, who works at L’Oréal in Copenhagen, explored the effects of brand personality on consumer engagement on Facebook and Twitter for her master thesis. Blichfeldt completed RSM’s MSc in Marketing Management’s honours programme cum laude in 2013.

The Digital Communication Awards

The Digital Communication Awards honour outstanding achievements, professional campaigning and strategic thinking in online communications in 34 categories, including social media platforms, corporate film, microsite, best master thesis, viral communication, intranet, and content marketing. Out of all applications, only three are shortlisted for each category.

The Digital Communication Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 25 September 2015 in Berlin. Winners will be chosen after the shortlisted entrants in the 34 categories have presented their projects in person to the jury.
