Frans Blom is Chairman of the Netherlands at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he has been working since 1991.
BCG has 82 offices in 46 countries and is the world's leading advisor on business strategy. From 2009 - 2015 Frans was part of BCG's Worldwide Executive Committee and became a member of the Operating Committee. He established and chaired a global Client Team, which under his leadership supported client-service teams around the world in key activities such as prioritization, investment, pricing and planning.
During his more than 25 years of consulting in BCG, Frans worked in many industries and multiple countries. Over that time, he has specialized in working for banks and insurance companies, developing growth strategies as well as numerous profit-improvement programs, reorganization projects and complete transformations.
Before joining The Boston Consulting Group, Frans was a member of the Royal Dutch Marine Corps and worked for three years with Staal Bankiers, a specialized private bank. Frans holds an MBA at INSEAD.
Furthermore, Frans delivers lectures, writes papers and gives interviews for clients as well as trade journals.
