Joost van Heyningen Nanninga (Dutch) is a Senior Partner of Egon Zehnder International, residing in Brussels, Belgium. He holds a university degree in Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as well as an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
He started his career as an Account Manager of Pierson, Heldring & Pierson Bank and, subsequently, moved to Elsevier Publishers where he worked during five years in various management positions.
In 1979, he joined Egon Zehnder International in Brussels, established the Egon Zehnder office in the Netherlands in 1980, was elected partner in 1983, and was managing partner for the Benelux Offices from 1984 until 1992. Furthermore, he was member of the executive committee from 1985 until 2000.
He was chairman of EIM (Executive Interim Management) with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Australia and Hong Kong.
Today, Joost van Heijningen Nanninga works for both Egon Zehnder International’s offices in Amsterdam and Brussels and focuses his practice on financial services, general management and non-executive directorships. He is a member of the Egon Zehnder International Board Consulting & Director Search Practice Group
He holds various non-executive directorships and advisory board memberships in the Benelux.
Joost van Heyningen Nanninga is married and has three children.
