Pauline van der Meer Mohr

President, Erasmus University Rotterdam

Pauline van der Meer Mohr is president of the Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam. She was appointed at the university in 2010 and is responsible for general administrative matters, keeping up a good relationship with the Supervisory Board and the University Council, strategic policy, international affairs and external relations, for example with the Rotterdam region, the business community and other knowledge institutions.

Pauline began her career in the legal profession and joined the Royal Dutch Shell Group in 1989, where she held several legal and management positions, including the Executive Board of the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM). In 2004 she was appointed group human resources director of TNT. From 2006 until 2008 she was senior executive vice president and head of human resources at ABN AMRO Bank NV. Pauline is a member of the Supervisory Boards of ASML NV, DSM and Chair of the Supervisory Board of Rotterdam School of Management BV. She serves on several other supervisory and advisory boards, including the Economic Development Board of Rotterdam.

She holds master degrees in Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and the European University Institute in Florence, and a master degree in Dispute Resolution from the University of Amsterdam.
