Head of Commercial Banking Netherlands

Annerie Vreugdenhil is head of Commercial Banking in the Netherlands. She is responsible for all of ING’s commercial banking activities in The Netherlands, which range from the relationship banking departments covering Corporate Clients, Business Banking (Mid Corporate Clients) and SME to the products within commercial banking, as well as Marketing for respective departments.

During her career at ING, Annerie has played a key role in developing ING Commercial Banking activities into the leading financial institution for large corporate clients in The Netherlands.

Since joining ING in 1992, Annerie held various positions, all of which revolved around maintaining and expanding relationships with clients in ING’s fast-growing Commercial Banking division. She has advised clients in various industries, most notably shipping and oil exploration. In 2000 Annerie founded and expanded ING’s Leveraged Finance team in the Netherlands – providing financing for private equity companies. In 2006 she became Head of Corporate Clients Netherlands, a client group that consists of the listed and privately-owned large companies with annual revenues of over EUR 250 million. In 2010, Annerie was appointed Head of Commercial Banking Netherlands.

ING Commercial Banking provides a wide range of tailor-made financial services which include financing, access to financial markets, M&A advisory and international payment services. Commercial Banking clients can access ING’s global network in 40 countries in Europe, Asia and North and South America.
