Corporate Connections

RSM is based in the city of Rotterdam, an international metropolis on the shores of Europe’s largest port – ‘the gateway’ to European trade and commerce for centuries. Today a hub of modern enterprise, Rotterdam and the surrounding region are home to many multinationals including Unilever and Shell, companies that are not only long-established members of the RSM community but played a hand in its earliest formation.

Today, RSM’s corporate network expands to companies worldwide, and the school’s extensive interaction with local and international enterprises pays tribute to both our corporate roots and the region’s international trading heritage.

RSM's founding fathers:

  • Shell
  • Algemene Kunstzijde Unie
  • Koninklijke Zout/Ketjen (AKZO NOBEL)
  • Amsterdam-Rotterdam Bank
  • Algemene Bank Nederland (ABN AMRO)
  • Unilever
  • Philips Gloeilampen fabriek (Lighting)
  • Koninklijke Hoogovens en Staalfabrieken (CORUS)
