With over 80 different nationalities in the student body, RSM today is a dynamic international community that spans academia, executives, current students, and the school’s extensive network of globally-dispersed alumni. 95% of the school’s MBA programme is of international origin; and 50% of its Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration. 30,000 RSM alumni are connected via 38 chapters located around the world. The school’s advisory board consists of 22 international individuals from diverse management positions in corporate industry, NGO's and the political arena, while an increasing percentage of staff and faculty are international.
RSM students enter a microcosm of the global village: an important part of learning: groupwork with diverse classmates is deployed widely at the school; international scholars and corporate partners participate in lectures and workshops; extensive opportunities for exchanges and internships/associateships within the school’s expansive international network bring exposure to business abroad. Programmes are also international in scope: the school’s Global OneMBA programme requires participants to complete five programme modules on four continents, while master’s students partake in study trips as far as India. RSM students are encouraged to think globally, not only in regards to the world’s diverging economies and business models, but the broader context in which business operates – societal and environmental.
