What are the most valuable skills that you took from your education at RSM?

"I think the most valuable skill I took from my MBA was the ability to interact with different cultures, different backgrounds and skills all at the same time. You can learn academic theory by reading books or keeping up to date by reading articles and going to events, but the environment that RSM provides, being sort of an international hub, is something that is difficult to achieve and to find. Imagine doing a 24H accounting exam in a team of 5, where everyone comes from a different country, continent and background… this is what all is about."

What was the most memorable moment at RSM?
"There were many memorable moments at RSM and to choose one based solely on the “memorable” adjective is not fair for the rest. If I take into account the Emotional effect and add Memorable to it, I would have to say that was the end of the programme Party. So many emotions were at large…. The mix between the sense of accomplishment, farewell, beginning a new step in life and that moment where you realise that you are saying goodbye to someone that shared 18 months of your life in such an intense way and that probably you are not going to see again…. I still hold this feeling within me."

How would your former classmates describe you?
"This is a tough one. I would say they would see me as some sort of geek, since I was the IT Chair. I always tried to help everyone as I could so I guess I could also be called of reliable. I hope most of them considered me as a friend since I also do. So, if they say “Diogo is a reliable geek which I consider my friend,” I would be very happy."

Name three things that make you smile each day!
"My two children, looking at the sea as I wake up, and realising that, although I sometimes complain, my life is very good, with an excellent company, good friends and family. It seems a cliché, I know, but it’s the truth."

What is your greatest passion in life?
"Technology and marketing are two things that together move me. I’m always trying to discover new ideas around these two things, developing business and bringing people together for projects."

What is your ‘I WILL’?
"I WILL bring technology and marketing closer together."
