Gabriele Jacobs is Associate Professor of Social- and Organisational Psychology at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). As the director of CESAM she is strongly committed to cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary research and to integrating insights of practitioners and research in the field of public safety. Kate Horton

Kate Horton is a Research Associate at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) and an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. In CESAM she is responsible for the research stream on ‘Identity’ which investigates how police identity and image influence collaboration, behavioural outcomes and stakeholder relations. P. Saskia Bayerl

P. Saskia Bayerl is Associate Professor of Technology and Organisational Behaviour at Rotterdam School of Management. In CESAM she is responsible for the research stream ‘Technology’, which investigates the impact of emerging technologies on public safety, public safety management, as well as the relationship between the public and organisations such as police. Her research interests lay at the intersection of human-computer interaction, organisational communication, and organisational change with a special focus on ICT implementation, privacy, and the management of transparency. Elisabeth Brein

Elisabeth Brein is a researcher at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). She is engaged in research on crisis management, policy and law enforcement. Her specific expertise is in the identification of social system variables during crises, such as human behaviour, resilience and leadership during crisis situations. Mark van der Giessen

Mark van der Giessen is a researcher at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). He is passionate about public safety management and his research interests include alcohol related violence, behavioural interventions, the Dutch coffee shop policy and the production, consumption and export of cannabis. He currently conducts a PhD under the umbrella of the UNITY project at CESAM: Managing for co-creation in a multiple stakeholder setting: Insights for – and from Community-Policing innovation. He was part of the project teams evaluating the ‘ZSM-procedure’ pilot and the nationalisation of the Dutch police organisation. With a background in both Psychology and International Comparative Criminology, Mark is very comfortable with multidisciplinary research in both national - and international contexts. Bep Klop

Bep Klop is an office manager at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). She has extensive experience in the organisation of international events with research and public partners and has close links to international research- and police organisations.
