The Energy Forum is targeted at policy makers, business and academia. It is relevant for managers working in the energy industry or responsible for procurement of energy for large end users. This includes industries such as port industry, all kinds of manufacturing, high-tech and ICT, steel, chemicals and agriculture.

The audience on Business day is primarily C-level executives and managers, policymakers and academics. In previous years these groups were roughly  70 -10 - 20 per cent. About 75 per cent of delegates came from the Netherlands, while 25 per cent came from other countries, mainly Germany, UK, USA and Belgium.

Science day is mainly attended by academics, PhD and master students, and managers, roughly represented 30 – 50 - 20 per cent. Around 60 per cent of delegates came from the Netherlands, with 40 per cent coming from other countries, again mainly Germany, UK, USA and Belgium.
