The RSM Admissions Office ultimately decides if the level and content of your education is sufficient and comparable to the Dutch secondary school system. No rights may be derived from this publication.

A solid background in mathematics is important for successful participation in the IBA programme.

The minimum required level of Mathematics of each applicant must be comparable to a Dutch pre-university diploma (VWO) Mathematics A or B with a sufficient grade. Applicants with an insufficient Mathematics Grade or level need to take an additional Mathematics test. An insufficient grade or level for mathematics will put you in the bottom tier of the ranking.

How do I know if I need to take a test?

  1. Check the admissions requirements for your specific diploma type
  2. If your level of mathematics is deemed insufficient or you see that your Mathematics grade does not meet the minimum requirements, you can sign up for one of the test options listed below. Please note that when determining whether or not your math grade is sufficient, RSM will calculate your average grade. If, for example the grade from your last semester was sufficient, but the grades from the 2 previous semesters were not - your overall math grade will be deemed to be insufficient and we reccommend that you take the math exam to prove your proficiency. Please note that the SAT or ACT are not accepted.
