Business-Regulation Management (BRM) aims to substantially contribute to new ways of effectively managing the business-regulation interface.
Our vision is that the impact of regulation can be improved if public and private actors have more knowledge about the interaction between regulators and regulatees. We believe that research in the field of business regulation management should be grounded on a multidisciplinary approach including legal, economic, behavioural and social perspectives.
The research of BRM is focused on three basic questions:
- How can businesses be managed to achieve regulatory compliance and socially responsible behaviour?
- How do activities of public regulators affect processes related to regulatory compliance and social responsible behaviour of businesses?
- How can the effectiveness of business regulation be improved?
Our work is directed towards a clear and direct impact for both academia for practitioners in public and private sector organizations including public supervisors.
