Desiderius Erasmus was a great scholar and a critical thinker who challenged the dominant Christian thoughts through dialogue. He travelled through Europe to meet and debate with other great and influential thinkers of his time. In his honour we named our seminar series Journeys with Erasmus.
Emulate Erasmus, these seminars are held through Europe to give our alumni and corporate relations an opportunity to debate with influential experts with provocative thoughts on today’s hottest business topics.
Previous events have featured speakers including Ivo H. Daalder, foreign policy adviser to the Obama presidential campaign and currently US Ambassador to NATO; Professor Noreena Hertz; Peter Paul de Vries, former director of the Vereniging van Effectenbezitters (VEB), former head of Euroshareholders, and currently CEO of Value 8 NV; and Arend Kapteyn, managing director and chief economist EMEA, Deutsche Bank.
