Alumni Supervisory Boards in course Strategic Business Plan

In the first year core course Strategic Business Plan, student teams from the Dutch-language BSc in Business Administration/ Bedrijfskunde (BScBA) and their counterparts in the English-language BSc in International Business Administration (BScIBA) programmes are required to write a Strategic Business Plan for a real company. Students are supervised by faculty members of the Department of Strategic Management and Business Environment. The fresh, critical eye of those working in business – namely our alumni volunteers – can be highly valuable to students. Do their analyses focus on the most important problems? Are their proposed strategic options realistic? Our alumni have insights and expertise to share in helping students refine their plan.
In 2010 RSM had another record number of first year students. However, 64 alumni volunteers contributed to this course acting as a Supervisory Board Member, so that also this year all BA and IBA student teams got feedback from an Alumni Supervisory Board!
The Supervisory Board sessions are highly appreciated by the students, alumni as well as the faculty members.

Call for Alumni as Supervisory Boards in first year course Strategic Business Plan
We seek the assistance of alumni volunteers to act as members of a Supervisory Board. Spend (at least) a half day with students and share your invaluable knowledge. Thursday sessions (for BScIBA students) are in English, Friday sessions (for BSc Business Administration/Bedrijfskunde) are in Dutch.
