1994-2002 Studied Mental Health Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Maastricht University and Biological Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology at Maastricht University.
2002-2008 PhD-student on the project ‘Disgust in relation to specific phobias’ at the Department of Clinical Psychological Science (former Department of Medical, Clinical and Experimental Psychology) at Maastricht University. Promotors: prof. dr. P. J. de Jong (University of Groningen) and prof. dr. M.L. Peters (Universiteit Maastricht). Obtained PhD degree via the public defense of his dissertation at 24-10-2008.
2009 Worked at the Department of Clinical Psychological Science at Maastricht University as a post-doc researcher until august. After this, started working as a post-doc researcher at the Erasmus University on the Pan-European xDelia-project (www.xdelia.org ).
