Betina Szkudlarek obtained a Master's degree (MA) in Political Science and Journalism at Silesian University (Poland) in May 2003. For several years she has been working as an intercultural trainer, mostly in the NGO sector.
Since November 1st 2004 she is conducting her PhD research at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. In her PhD research she looks at the phenomenon of cross-cultural re-entry training for intercultural sojourners.
Her main research interests, in the broad field of cross-cultural management, focus on intercultural training and intercultural communication.
