Research Interests:
- Contractual Design for Alliances (How do firms design contracts to manage inter-firm relationships? What are the formal governance forms (i.e. the allocation of control rights, the incentives and the decision rules)? How do firms divide tasks and coordinate between themselves?)
- Value Creation and Value Appropriation in Collaborative Innovation (How does ex-ante value appropriation affect value creation in collaborative innovation? How to make ex-ante value appropriation to increase value creation under incomplete information?)

Biography
Yang joined the Department of Strategy & Business Environment, RSM in 2009. Before that, she did her PhD at the Department of Strategy & International Management in London Business School, and worked for three years in marketing and IP consulting. She earned her Msc. in International Management from University of Manchester, UK and Bsc. in Business & English from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.
