Research interest
The effect of globalization on the location strategy regarding the (corporate) headquarters of the multinational corporation. Frameworks for strategic decision making on headquarters location. How management can improve the added value of their headquarters and the competitive advantage of their corporations by reconfiguring and relocating headquarters resources across borders.
The dynamics of financial performance of corporations over long periods of time. Identifying and explaining patterns of performance. In particular the sustainability of superior performance; how long can corporations achieve financial performance that is significantly above their peers in the same industry.
The synthesis of the approaches of academics and top strategy consultants for strategy formation. How can the methods and techniques of academics and consultants be combined to enhance the levels of relevance and rigor of the strategy formation process.
