Working Title Dissertation

Strategic Renewal through Multilevel Managerial Capabilities: Multistage Perspectives on Boundary Spanning Actors & Adaptation

Short Description Dissertation

This project deals primarily with the capabilities of managers of incumbent firms in several stages, and concurrently at multiple levels, of the strategic renewal process. I aim to tackle several interrelated gaps of how the capabilities of boundary spanners at various hierarchical levels play a role in various stages of the strategic renewal process. At present I am focusing on the roles and capabilities of top management teams and middle managers in the formulation and adaptation phases of strategic renewal.
