"When I was deciding on which school to choose for my for master education, RSM was top of my list because of its world-renowned reputation, which makes it stand out among the top business schools. Specifically, RSM’s world class faculty from all over the world brings together top-tier knowledge and technology; RSM’s research is at the forefront in every single discipline, and RSM has close relationships with its corporate partners so stays academically competitive but also keeps up with daily developments in the real world. The General Management programme provides me with a great opportunity to learn about the world better, deeper and also faster. Studying in a group of students from a variety of educational and demographic backgrounds, I was able to polish my interpersonal, language, social and team work skills very effectively and efficiently. I would say the most precious lesson I learned from the programme is how to work with colleagues from a variety of cultures and how to learn in a way that is both enlightening and efficient.
The programme is well-designed to function as preparation for people who want to work in the business world but do not have related academic backgrounds. The programme structure and course design are particularly practical. During the year, we have the chance to get into major business-related academic disciplines such as human resource management, finance, and management science. Approaching the end of the GM programme, the consultancy project gave us the opportunity to deal with real-life issues in real companies, and use the knowledge we acquired during the whole year. It’s ‘show-off time’ and we got great enjoyment and a feeling of accomplishment from it.
To sum up, the GM programme is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to enter the business world with very sound and solid preparation. After my graduation, I would like to work in the finance industry where I can use my new knowledge and skills to develop my career and take my life to a new level"
