Housing Coming from abroad

Share

The International Relations Office helps students find accommodations in Rotterdam. Since there are no on-campus dormitories, most students live in the city or within a radius of about 5 km from the University.

All admitted candidates receive detailed information about housing opportunities and prices, which vary depending on size, location and on whether you are alone or if you come with your spouse/partner and/or child(ren).

An example of one of our housing facilities is the Erasmus International House (EIH), where many of our students live. It's within walking distance from the campus and consists of fully furnished single occupancy rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities.

According to your preferences, the International Relations Office will help you look for other accommodation. These are usually furnished units. Students may have to share facilities with other students or a landlord / landlady. The Housing Department can also provide you with contact addresses of real estate agents, who manage current listings of housing (both furnished and unfurnished). For more information about our housing facilities and procedures, please follow this link to the website of our Housing Department.

For all our participants who come from outside of the Netherlands our first port of call is making sure you have access to all the practical information you need in regards to studying and living in the Netherlands and Rotterdam, so that your application is as easy and stress-free as possible. To this end, we have created a special area of our website to help you with everything you need to know. Please visit the RSM International section, and we look forward to welcoming you to the programme

Housing

We at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University would like your transition to Rotterdam to be as smooth as possible. To ease your transition to this new and exciting city, we are pleased to offer our students basic housing of various types and sizes. Specific apartments have been designated to support couples, small families, single tenants, and students who wish to minimize costs by residing in units with shared common areas (e.g. kitchen, shower). Students who are accepted to the MFM program can make use of the services offered by the Housing Office.
