RSM teaching faculty are all active researchers at Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM), RSM’s shared research institute with the Erasmus School of Economics and one of the world’s leading management research institutes. RSM faculty are international academics who regularly publish in top journals, and often have extensive experience working for and within the business community, ensuring learning remains closely-aligned with the most pressing needs of the firms themselves.
The CHEB programme is closely linked to RSM’s China Business Research Centre, an international group of academics conducting socio-economic research into China's national and provincial business systems. Among its partners are academics from Tsinghua University, Beijing; Zhejiang University, Hangzhou; INSEAD, Paris; University of Technology, Sydney; HKUST, Hong Kong; the University of Zurich; and the University of Heidelberg.
Please visit the website of the China Business Research Centre for an overview of staff members, their research interests and events.
Many members of staff in the Chinese Economy & Business programme are part of the Department of Organisational & Personnel Management. Please have a look at the Department’s web pages for a list of staff members and their research interests, as well as events and the Departmental research profile.
Leiden teaching faculty taking part in the CHEB programme belong to Leiden University Institute for Area Studies (LIAS). The CHEB programme itself is linked to Leiden University’s BA and MA programmes in Chinese Studies, and its Modern East Asia Research Centre (MEARC), which was established to support, stimulate and showcase genuine disciplinary research into Greater China, Japan, and Korea, initially in the disciplines of Politics, History and Philosophy, from the nineteenth century until the present day. During the last two decades, Leiden University has invested heavily in creating a strong profile in modern East Asian Studies, resulting in the founding of MEARC in 2006, among other developments.
Please visit MEARC web pages for further information.
