China is dominating headlines as the world’s most dynamic economy and its development is crucial for overcoming the present world recession. Chinese companies floating their firms on European stock exchanges and buying European companies generate new forms of co-operation between firms and business systems. In this uncharted business territory, there’s a demand for graduates who combine sound business management skills with a thorough knowledge of China’s economy, business sector and culture.
The MSc in Chinese Economy and Business is a new programme launched in September 2009 designed to meet this demand. It is the result of a unique collaboration between Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and the Chinese Department at Leiden University. The programme combines the outstanding expertise of both institutions and is taught by some of Europe’s leading faculty in the field.
