All core and associated faculty of the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship & New Business Venturing, an RSM Centre of Expertise, will help you craft a proposal and coach you through the master thesis process.
The master thesis requires you to link theory to practice, and incorporates elements that test or develop theories or models. At the start of the programme you will select a subject on which you will write your individual research project. Research clinics will help you develop a research proposal for your graduation project.
Once you have passed all examinations, a few months remain to carry out the research and to write your master thesis. We require theses to be relevant to the field; they should build on, and contribute to the entrepreneurship literature, and they should have clear-cut practical implications. Regardless of the type of research project, most of our students combine writing their master thesis with an internship for an established entrepreneurial company or start-up venture. Some students prefer to conduct their research project for a government agency, an investor or within a consulting firm.
