currently following GBSM

I think studying GBSM has been a challenging and interesting experience on both a knowledge and personal levelAfter the pre-master, this is the time where you learn to take an academic perspective and see its importance. I very much enjoyed the guest lectures that proved that CSR is a subject that does matter to most organisations. But the best part might be the intensive cooperation with fellow students during class and group assignments. The benefit: GBSM students are more used to participating in discussions! This was the clear distinction when comparing the elective I took from another MScBA programme. One thing is for sure: interaction is not boring.

Kees van der Meeren

currently following GBSM

How do you think a CEO of a top multinational spends his/her day? He is considering the companies reputation, talking with governments, interacting with stakeholders – in short everything you learn at GBSM.

Vincent van Bruchem

GBSM is really a great masters for me. You get to participate in a group of very intelligent and internationally-oriented people. We are all future oriented, and share the common interest of developing insights beyond a relatively narrow business-school perspective.

graduated in 2000
now director of CSR-academy.

Without a doubt, the MScBA Global Business and Stakeholder Management has contributed to my understanding of business and its roles, functions, and responsibilities in society. For me, it has nothing to do with philanthropy – it’s very much strategic. Put simply: corporations are open systems, and the interests, responsibilities, and opportunities of corporations extend far beyond their immediate task environment.

Ivo Broeren

now working at ING Insurance Central Europe.

A big plus of the MScBA Global Business & Stakeholder Management is that you discuss tomorrow’s business topics, which I consider very useful in my daily work. Furthermore, this master gives you the understanding that going with the flow is not always the best way; formulating your own opinion is much better.

Ingwell Kuil

graduated in 2006
now works for the World Bank Group in Washington D.C. USA.

My job at the World Bank gives me the unique opportunity to apply the theories and managerial skills that are taught during the Global Business and Stakeholder Management masters. Intuitively, it seems very logical to involve public, private and other strategic stakeholders in societal issues in an interdisciplinary manner in order to ultimately realise a sustainable impact on development. In our world, strategies aligned to and beyond the core responsibilities of all parties are demanded to decrease global inequalities and create institutional change. In my opinion, the role of the private sector and its interface with the public sector and other stakeholders is fascinating. During the MScBA Global Business and Stakeholder Management I've learnt to analyse the engagement of all parties critically, using a research-driven and pragmatic approach – capabilities that are undoubtedly of crucial importance in my current job.
