Block Seminar

Your first opportunity to meet your fellow CEMS classmates comes with the block seminars; week-long interdisciplinary workshops held at the beginning of the programme by each CEMS school. These seminars are led by inter-university teams of teachers and organised off-campus. They offer an arena for debate and discussion of innovative management topics from different cultural perspectives and you can choose to attend block seminars held by any of the CEMS partner schools.

RSM organises two block seminars; on entrepreneurship and innovation in the service industry. The first seminar takes place at the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk, about 45 km from Rotterdam, and provides students with the challenge of developing commercial uses for a specific space technology. The second seminar is developed in close collaboration with companies such as ABN AMRO, and asks students to find solutions for new challenges facing the service industry.
