My MScBA in Marketing Management helped me substantially in reaching my career objectives. I believe it boosted my level of expertise in marketing and ensured a head-start to my career by providing me with solid knowledge, hands-on experiences and the international exposure necessary to become a top marketer.
The RSM experience was extremely useful. Just as the Dean told us on the first day, it’s not an easy experience. You will have to learn and work hard, and sometimes you will get frustrated when not getting the high grades you are used to. But it offers you exciting challenges and learning and development opportunities from day one until the last day.

An MScBA prepares you for the business world and enables you to enrich your knowledge but also improves your soft skills and gives you the chance to practice what you learned in a real business context, via case studies and great internships offered by the Career Centre.
The best part about the MScBA is that you get to work with, and learn from the most talented students in the Netherlands as well as international students of high potential. And despite the hard work you also have some time to relax and have fun together.

The most challenging part was the emphasis on the most up-to-date research findings and discoveries in marketing literature. At the beginning it was slightly difficult getting used to the new terminology and methodology, as well as challenging the theories and norms of current marketing, but it in the end it helped us become better marketers and understand the value of research for a successful marketing initiative or strategy.
I have so many great memories from my time at RSM; the first days at RSM, the first team building event for our class, times spent in the cafeteria solving the Harvard business review case studies with the team, special company workshops on campus and after-hours drinks and city trips with classmates, and the official graduation ceremony. They are all special moments from my RSM year.
