How to apply

Application guidelines

Complete the on-line application form (OLAF) on the RSM website.

When you have filled in all of the necessary information on the on-line application form and uploaded the required documents listed below, pay the non-refundable € 100 application fee* (*applicants with a bachelor degree from outside of the Netherlands only) and submit your application by clicking the submit button at the end of the form.

 

Required supporting documents:

a. 

A copy of your passport (the passport must be valid) 

b.

A copy of your secondary education diploma and academic transcript. If the original documents are written in a language other than English, Dutch or German you will need to provide an official translation. 

c. 

A copy of your university diploma(s) and academic transcripts/records. If the original documents are written in a language other than English, Dutch or German you will need to provide an official translation. If you indicated on your application form that you have not yet completed your bachelor studies, please send us an official copy of your academic record(s) so far and provide the date you are expected to fulfill all requirements necessary for graduation. Applicants are required to have completed their bachelor programmes before 1 September. If you fail to meet this requirement you will not be allowed to start your master's programme. After you have been admitted, you will be asked to send certified copies of your diploma and transcript to the RSM admissions office.

A copy of your GMAT exam results.  The results must be included in your application by the application deadline or before the programme has reached capacity. GMAT exam results can be verified online if you have given RSM permission to access your score. The institution code for all programmes is: QK8-CX-28. (see the programme specific requirements for more details)

Proof of proficiency in the English Language. RSM will accept test scores from the following examinations: TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge (CPE, CAE or BEC). No other English Language tests will be accepted. The results must be included in your application by the application deadline or before the programme has reached capacity. IELTS exam results are verified by the RSM admissions office online, using the Test Report Form Number on the lower right corner of the score report. TOEFL and Cambridge scores will be verified if you have given RSM permission/ sent your score report to RSM. Score reports sent to RSM by post will not be matched to applicants.

Applicants for the International Management/CEMS programme must also provide proof of proficiency in two languages in addition to English. For more information, please click here.

Your Curriculum Vitae. 

If you are an external (non-RSM) student and want to apply for one of the masters programmes offered by Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University please follow the steps listed below.

RSM students (currently enrolled in one of our BSc programmes) who want to apply for the Master International Management (IM/CEMS) or MSc Finance & Investments Advanced programmes also have to follow the steps listed below.

For all other MSc programmes, internal RSM students must register for the master programme in Studielink by the 15th of May. For more information check the current student pages.

Additional important remarks:

  • We expect you to upload all of the above mentioned relevant documents in our online application form.
  • Please notify the Admissions Office via our contact form if your e-mail address changes.
  • Please submit your application on time. It is not possible to submit your application after the application deadline (deadlines for all programmes are listed on our website).
  • Only complete applications will be considered for admission. You can apply without the GMAT and language scores, but they must be submitted by the application deadline. You will receive an e-mail from the RSM Admissions Office confirming whether your application was found to be complete or not within two weeks after it has been submitted.
