Selection Procedure & Deadlines

Selection Procedure & Deadlines

The application deadline for the majority of our MSc programmes is 15 May. Two of our MSc programmes have a different application deadline. The deadline for the International Management/CEMS programme is 31 January and the deadline for the Finance & Investments Advanced programme is 31 March.

Non-EEA/non-EU applicants need an entry visa and/or residence permit if selected for a MSc programme at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM). In order to avoid any delays, we strongly advise that non-EEA/non-EU applicants complete the application process before 1 April. Please also take into consideration that as the application deadline approaches, we will receive an increasing number of applications. We may need more time to assess your file.

When you receive an offer of admission to RSM, we start the visa procedure on your behalf. However, due to a change of the Dutch immigration policy, all documents for the visa application must be received no later than 6 June

The MSc International Management/CEMS and MSc Finance & Investments Advanced programmes are selective. The best candidates will be selected for admission after the application deadline. Meeting the minimum admissions criteria does not guarantee a place in the programme.

For all other MSc programmes a rolling admissions policy is in effect. We will accept qualified applicants on a first come first serve basis without further selection. Please note that the MSc Finance & Investments and MScBA Master in Management programmes may reach capacity before the application deadline. After a programme has reached capacity, applications will no longer be considered. However your application can be considered for a different programme. To increase your chances of acceptance, we advise that you apply to these programmes as soon as possible. Please note that only complete applications can be considered for admission.
