Theoretical concepts taught and practical insights gained at RSM gave me a good idea of what to expect in real business life, and helped me sharpen the skills I needed to master challenges I am faced with every day in the corporate audit department of a large multinational utility firm. I found the focus on Accounting on Control (which means ‘internal controls’ rather than ‘controlling’) was especially useful as it has enabled me to carry out assignments independently from day one.
The best feature of RSM is its extremely motivated and knowledgeable teaching staff. Each and every one of them won over the students with their enthusiasm for their subject and so provided the students with interesting and enjoyable lectures and tutorials.
My best memory does not relate to a single moment in time, but rather to the entire time at RSM. When telling friends about it, I usually enthuse most about the international environment and atmosphere at the faculty, and above all the positive working spirit that was created jointly by students and staff.
RSM prepares students extremely well for the challenges they will encounter in real business life. The internationality of the faculty and student population make the experience even more valuable.
