Why did you choose this MScBA?
“As an engineer aiming at stepping into the corporate world, I chose this programme because I wanted to acquire specific business knowledge and experiences while rounding off my soft skills in a multicultural environment. In my opinion, RSM’s Master in Management is the perfect programme if you want to complement your background.”
How would you describe the programme and RSM?
“It’s a 16-month highly demanding and utterly rewarding program that will put you in a variety of real-life business-related situations that will allow you to grow personally and professionally while making life-lasting friends.”
What was the biggest challenge in this master?
“The biggest challenge of this master is its clear practical orientation and diverse student composition. Every course has its own team assignment, which lasts from two to six months. In order to successfully complete these assignments – several of them in real companies as external consultants – it is necessary to learn how to effectively work in teams whose members come from different cultures and have different backgrounds. In this situation, understanding different points of view on the same “hard evidence” allows you to discover your own hidden biases and fosters your global mindset.”
What made the greatest impression?
“My classmates: I had never met so many motivated, creative and smart yet funny people in my life. On one hand, in spite of their different backgrounds, they all had an impressive set of skills and capabilities that allow them to perform highly in any situation. On the other hand, they were very approachable and likable people who I felt I had known for years since the very beginning.”
How did your studies at RSM shape your career?
“RSM’s Master in Management allowed to discover the areas of business not only that I am passionate about but also in which the core capabilities I had developed during my previous studies allow me to perform the best.”
What are your future plans?
“My short-term goal is to solidify my professional career deepening my knowledge in the area of finance in an inspiring yet demanding company. In the long-term, however, I aim at leveraging all this experience along with my skills and education to pursue an international career outside Europe. Definitely, these studies have played a fundamental role in boosting my desire to embed myself in different cultures.”
