
If you are an external (non-RSM) student and want to apply for one of the masters programmes offered by Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University please follow the three steps listed below.
RSM students (currently enrolled in one of our BSc programmes) who want to apply for the Master International Management (IM/CEMS) OR for the MSc Chinese Economy & Business (CHEB) also have to follow the three steps listed below. For all other MSc programmes, please check SIN-Online for the enrolment procedure or consult a RSM student advisor.
RSM graduates who are no longer enrolled as students must also apply for admission using the on-line application form. You do not need to send a copy of your secondary school diploma, submit a GMAT score, prove your proficiency in the English language or send a copy of your CV. All other steps should be followed.
1. | Complete the on-line application form (OLAF) on the RSM website. When you have filled in all of the necessary information on the on-line application form, submit your application by clicking the submit button at the end of the form | ||
2. | Finalise your personal admissions package. After you have submitted a digital copy of the form, please prepare your personal admissions package for the RSM by gathering the following documents: | ||
a. | A copy of the online application request form signed by you. | ||
b. | A copy of your passport (the passport must be valid) | ||
c.. | A certified copy(*) of your secondary education diploma and academic transcript. If the original documents are written in a language other than English, Dutch or German you will need to provide an official translation. | ||
d. | A certified copy(*) of your university diploma(s) and academic transcripts/records. If the original documents are written in a language other than English, Dutch or German you will need to provide an official translation. If you indicated on your application form that you have not yet completed your bachelor studies, please send us an official copy of your academic record(s) so far and provide the date you are expected to fulfil all requirements necessary for graduation. Applicants are required to have completed their bachelor programmes before 1 September. If you fail to meet this requirement will not be allowed to start their master's programme. | ||
e. | A copy of your GMAT exam results. GMAT exam results can be verified online if you have given RSM permission to access your score. The institution code for our General Management Programme is: QK8-CX-36; for our International Management/CEMS programme: QK8-CX 52; and for all other MSc programmes: QK8-CX-28. | ||
f. | Proof of proficiency in the English Language. RSM will accept test scores from the following examinations: TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge and Common European Framework Levels (CEF), No other English Language tests will be accepted. TOEFL and IELTS exam results can be verified online if you have given RSM permission to access your score. Please note that we still expect you to send us a copy of the test report as part of your application package. The RSM institutional code for TOEFL is 7199. | ||
g. | Applicants for the International Management/CEMS programme will also need to submit proof of proficiency in a second foreign language. | ||
h. | Motivation Letter. Explain your reasons for applying to the programme of your choice. | ||
i. | Your Curriculum Vitae. | ||
j. | Please do not send your application in a document holder and try to avoid double sided documents and using staples. | ||

You will receive an e-mail from the RSM Admissions Office confirming the receipt of your paper application package within two weeks after it arrives in our offices.
