Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, offers a pre-master programme consisting of 31-33 ECTS for Dutch University of Professional Education (Dutch University of Applied Science or HBO) students interested in pursuing a Master of Science degree at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). Selection is based upon your specific HBO degree, your grades and your motivation. Your HBO programme should be a programme that is related to Business Administration. For more detailed information on our selection criteria, please refer to Admissions.
Completely taught in English, the programme has a strictly limited capacity: The maximum number of students selected for the programme is 40 and no more than 20 Dutch students will be selected. If you already meet the admissions requirements it is highly recommended that you apply early, as these spots will fill quickly. This programme has reached its capacity for the 2013-2014 academic year. For applicants who speak Dutch, it is still possible to apply for admission to the Dutch language programme.
The programme starts only once a year in September 2013. After successful completion of the pre-master programme and GMAT test you are immediately eligible for one of the one-year Master’s programmes.
You can also apply for the 1½-year (18 months) MSc International Management - CEMS programme, or the 1 year Chinese Economy & Business programme. For both of these programmes, additional requirements apply.
This one-year pre-master must be completed within two consecutive years. In the event that you have not completed all programme requirements within two years, the grades and credits received up to that point will no longer be valid.
Please be aware that successful completion of the pre-master programme and GMAT test does not result in a bachelor diploma or other certificate but only in a proof of admission to the master that has to be redeemed within one year.
Application deadline: Admission for the 2013-2014 academic year is closed as the programme has reached its capacity.
*The application deadline for the 2013-2014 Premaster programme is 15 May 2013 unless the maximum capacity has been reached before this date.
