The English-language pre-master in Business Administration requires you to follow a selection of courses in the Bachelor in International Business Administration programme.
The curriculum is comprised of two compulsory parts equaling between 31 and 33 ECTS and one optional part. A research project is also required which includes study and training in research methodology, as well as the writing of a bachelor thesis. This is used to measure your ability to present your thoughts and research insights in regards to the management of firms in a well-structured, coherent and academic document.
At some point during the pre-master year you will also need to take the GMAT exam. A minimum score of 600 is required.
This part of the curriculum (27 ECTS) has been designed to bring your skills up to an academic level.

The GMAT exam is not part of the pre-master curriculum, but it is a compulsory admission requirement to the RSM MSc programmes. A minimum score of 600 is required before you will be allowed to start your master programme. GMAT scores older than 2 years are not considered valid by RSM.
The GMAT exam consists of 4 parts, the quantitative section, the verbal section, the analytical writing assessment, and the integrated reasoning section. The first 2 sections are used to determine your overall score. RSM does not require you to complete the analytical writing assessment or the Integrated Reasoning section.
SAT and GRE scores will not be accepted.
Important remark: Do not take the GMAT test too lightly. We advise you to start preparing for it right from the start of the pre-master.
