The elective period is your opportunity to select from a range of subjects designed to offer further specialised knowledge. You will be required to take three courses of your choice. In order to facilitate your greater learning, a wider range of business disciplines is covered in the electives. The following is a snapshot of some of the courses on offer:
- Negotiations
It is vital that any business executive entering into an international commercial transaction should know how to successfully negotiate an agreement that will actually satisfy his or her needs. - Leadership
The purpose of the course, by its very nature, is not to provide a single, ‘correct’ perspective, but to be a catalyst for personal reflection and insight (mirroring-principle) into processes and concepts critical for completing the MBA successfully, as well as provide a platform for future career and personal success. - International Investment Management
This course is focused on managing equity portfolios and introducing participants to the asset management industry. - Entrepreneurship and Corporate Intrapreneurship
This course is designed for students seeking to understand how new business ventures are created and grown. It develops the concepts, theory and practice of entrepreneurship. The course addresses the central issues that arise and the techniques that are essential in the successful creation of new entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial ventures.
