This team of professionals works with you throughout the programme – and in a sense, for the rest of your career – preparing you for the job market and bringing you exclusive career opportunities. 

The services of the Career Development Centre are oriented towards helping you identify and attain your immediate, mid- and long-term career objectives. This comprehensive process begins with self-analysis and profiling, before moving onto developing your knowledge of the job market and the professions and industries that best suit you, to training you in winning interview techniques, networking and presentation skills, and finally full-scale recruitment activities. 

Activities are directed towards two main areas: 

Personal Development.

Once you join RSM’s MBA Programme – before you even set foot on campus – you become a part of our Career Enhancement Programme. Workshops, on-campus recruiting events, tools and resources all aim to help you: 

• Assess what motivates you in your career, and identify your strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. 
• Focus your research effectively on appropriate industry sectors and companies, and make informed decisions about your career options. 
• Implement a purposeful job search to ensure you achieve your career objectives. 
• Evaluate your commercial worth in an international job market. 
• Assess your interpersonal, networking and presentation skills through peer evaluation. 

Two of the ways in which we do this are 'Which Career is Best for You?' and 'Your Personal Brand'. 

Corporate Outreach.

Your MBA is recognised by major companies around the world. We facilitate contact between you and corporations with recruitment events, panels, workshops and online resources throughout the programme which put you in direct contact with recruiters from large multinational companies.
