Profile

Suzana B. Rodrigues is a Professor of International Business and Organisation at the Department of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).

She is Director and Co-founder of the Erasmus Centre for Emerging Markets at Erasmus University, which is dedicated to understand and advise high tech small firms and multinationals from emerging markets by applying cross-cultural and institutional perspectives.

Prior to joining RSM, Professor Rodrigues was a Professor of International Management and Organization at Birmingham University and at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil.

She has held visiting and research positions in several prestigious institutions, among them the Judge Business School and St John`s College at Cambridge, Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, INSEAD, St Andrews University in Scotland and Queens University in Belfast.

In Brazil Suzana has served as President and Director of the Brazilian Academy of Management for several years. She received several awards for her contribution to the field of organization theory and management education in Brazil. Her book on Corporate Co-evolution: A Political Perspective, received the Terry Book Award at the 2009 Academy of Management Meeting.

Professor Rodrigues has published widely in leading international journals such as Human Relations, Journal of International Management, Journal of Management Studies, Management and Organization Review, Management International Review, Organization Studies, Corporate Governance An International Review and Journal of Management and Governance.
