RSM’s MBA Marketing & Admissions Team completes the “Road to Rotterdam” Tour
Rotterdam, 28 April 2009 --- The MBA Marketing and Admissions Team from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University recently engaged in an extensive recruitment tour of the Netherlands called “The Road to Rotterdam." The MBA road show was aimed at attracting students to all three MBA programmes offered by RSM, namely the International Full-time MBA, the Executive MBA and the Global Executive OneMBA. These programmes cater to the needs of a vast spectrum of students, spanning various levels of experience and very diverse MBA aspirations.
The team visited nine Dutch cities in eight days, covering more than 1 000 kilometres. Events took place in Utrecht; Eindhoven; Tilburg; Breda; Leeuwarden; Groningen; Lelystad; Arnhem and Rotterdam. Each event took the form of personal pre-application interviews followed by an Information Session.
“One of the main aims of the road show was to have personal contact with prospective candidates, ensuring that they find the right fit with one of our programmes,“ Ken Robertson, Director, MBA Marketing & Admissions explained. According to Tinka Broeders, MBA Marketing & Admissions Manager who attended the northern cities, the MBA road show was a huge success. “We saw high calibre potential candidates and found our interactions with them very fruitful. We are confident that we will see some quality applications resulting from these events,” she said. Ken Robertson added that “these events provide the opportunity to demonstrate the commitment of RSM to facilitating improved management practices within the Netherlands.” He concludes by saying that “we are looking into the possibility of conducting another road show in the near future.”
