Lucas Cornelisse MSc

Lucas joined the Partnerships Resource Centre as a trainee in February 2014 as part of the Advanced Master in International Development Studies (AMID), a trainee programme for talented young professionals at the start of their careers in sustainable development. Before that Lucas followed the regular master programme in International Development studies at Radboud University Nijmegen from which he graduated cum laude in October 2013. His motivation comes from his strong interest in sustainable development and finding ways to deal with persistent and complex global problems.

Lucas’ work focuses on the PPPLab, a four-year action research and joint learning initiative which started in 2014. Its purpose is to study the relevance, effectiveness and quality of Dutch-supported public-private partnerships (PPPs) for water safety, food security and private sector development. In addition to this, Lucas also works on further developing and structuring the teaching and training modules offered by the Centre.
