Promoting Effective Partnering (PEP)

Promoting Effective Partnering (PEP)

The Promoting Effective Partnering (PEP) Initiative is initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its role as co-chair to the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC). PrC is one of the five organisations, each with long-standing reputations, strong track records in supporting partnering and collaboration, and on the cutting edge of promoting good partnering practice, that participates in the PEP Initiative. Their main aim is to create an openly accessible facility to drive and strengthen partnering competence of public, private and civil society actors in support of achieving the SDGs. During the first stage, the partners in the PEP Initiative will gather (gaps in) knowledge and existing support structures and guidelines on partnering and will pilot the PEP Facility. The results of these exercises will be vetted during a workshop in January gathering the five participating organisations and a selection of international experts and practitioners on the issues at stake. The PEP Initiative will furthermore pilot a PEP Facility offering support services to those involved in partnering endeavours for the SDGs.
