Full-time Lecturer in Finance

Full-time Lecturer in Finance

The Department of Finance at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Finance with a starting date of January 2017.

The Lecturer position involves a teaching task, where the candidate will teach courses in our master (MSc) and bachelor (BSc) programmes. The position also involves master thesis supervision. The MSc Finance & Investments program is a world class one-year general finance curriculum, where students follow compulsory and elective courses and write a thesis.

Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate an interest in teaching at the BSc and MSc level and a proven track record in this respect. We expect the candidate to have a sound background in finance, demonstrated by a PhD Degree in Finance. People with experience in the financial industry are particularly welcome to apply, because our MSc Finance & Investment has a program partnership status with the CFA Institute.

The Lecturer appointment initially is a one year position, which can be extended. The salary includes several secondary benefits (such as a pension plan that is partially funded by the university). Favorable tax agreements may apply to non-Dutch applicants. We offer opportunities for lecturers to further develop teaching skills.
