Stefano Rosso, CEO of OTB

Stefano Rosso was born in Marostica, Italy in 1979. After high school he pursued his studies at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, where he completed a BA in international trade and marketing. He began his work experience outside of the family company, collaborating with brands such as ZooYork, part of the Ecko Unlimited group.  

Stefano returned to Italy in 2005 with a new challenge: he began his professional experience at Diesel, working in different areas of the company, from production to marketing. Stefano became the first Diesel’s 5 Pockets (denim) brand manager, and then strategic brand alliances director, creating and managing some of the brand’s most important global collaborations, from a limited edition sneakers series with adidas Originals, to the worldwide partnership with Ducati.  

He became director of corporate development of OTB in 2011. OTB is the parent company of Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Viktor&Rolf, Brave Kid, and Staff International which is the company manufacturing and distributing license agreements with DSquared², Just Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood Red Label and Man, and Marc Jacobs Men.  

Stefano was named CEO of OTB in 2013. He is responsible for designing the group’s corporate governance, and guiding the people and organisation to build the managerial team of the future. He plays a key role in the development strategy of the group, with a special focus on new acquisitions.  

In addition, Stefano is president of Bassano Virtus 55 Soccer Team, and managing director of Red Circle Investments. He sits on the board of directors of H-Farm (first digital start-up incubator in Italy) and EcorNaturaSì (biggest organic products supplier and store chain in Italy). Stefano is also the co-founder of the Red Room Party.
