FAQ for prospective MSc students

FAQs about our Master Open Day and studying at RSM

All of our events on campus are cancelled until 1 June 2020 at least. This means that the Master Open Day at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) on 24 March was also cancelled.

We know that many of you have lots of questions about studying at RSM and want to know how to find out more. We hope these FAQs will help.

Will the Master Open Day from 24 March be rescheduled?
We don’t know right now. We will tell you when we make a new date for our Master Open Day, but the new date might be after the application deadline.

How can I find out more about the programme I want to study?
We recorded our recent virtual information sessions for each RSM master programme. These sessions were hosted by our academic directors and they answered questions live from students – like you – that are interested in the programme. You can watch the recordings of those sessions here.

Can I find out more from students already doing the programme?
Yes. Current students from each MSc programme have hosted online sessions to describe their own experiences. You can watch the recordings of those sessions here. (Scroll down the page to the section called Sessions by current students)

Why can’t I find out more from students on the MSc Business Analytics and Management?
This is RSM’s newest master programme, and we don’t yet have any students who can tell you what it’s like to study it.

I have questions I want to ask current students. Can I still talk to them?
Yes, our student ambassadors are available online. You can talk to them through our Unibuddy platform.

I want to know what it’s like to be a student at RSM. How can I find out?
Before the coronavirus crisis we were able to offer a ‘Student for a Day’ experience so you could join a lecture. That’s not possible right now and we don’t know when we will be able to re-start this service because our campus is completely closed. But you can have a good look our campus virtually:

I still have questions about the application process. How can I find out more?
You can find out more about the application process and our admission requirements during our live virtual information session at 15:00 UTC+2 on Thursday 16 April 2020.

The session is free, but please register so that we can send you the right link to join in. We will make a 20-minute presentation then you can ask your questions. Register here for the virtual information session.
