The Corporate Communication Centre at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) will organise a half-day conference on Thursday October 19 during which the current trend of purpose in corporate communication will be explored as well as whether purpose-led organisations have stronger corporate reputations. The conference is open to all communication practitioners and free of charge.

Combining the latest insights from academic research, Cees van Riel, Professor of Corporate Communication at RSM, and Joep Cornelissen, Professor of Corporate Communication and Management at RSM will present cases about Global Art Museums and Fairphone. The conference promises to be a one-day showcase in which the role of purpose in corporate communication will be explored and whether companies that are led by a strong purpose and commitment towards their stakeholders enjoy more glowing reputations than their peers.
