Did you know that the Province of Ontario celebrates Dutch Heritage Month? Ontario, and Canada as a whole, has strong ties to The Netherlands -- in addition to liberating the Dutch in WWII, Ontario is home to more than 500,000 citizens who have Dutch roots and The Netherlands is the third largest investor in Canada after the US and the UK. Each year, Ontario recognizes and honours this special bond, proclaiming the month of May as Dutch Heritage Month.

To kick-off Dutch Heritage Month, RSM Alumni in Canada will be joining the Consulate General of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Toronto for a flag-raising ceremony at Queen's Park on May 2nd, 2019. This event is free and open to the public, so we encourage you to come and celebrate the start of Dutch Heritage Month while also meeting other RSM Alumni, and potentially Dutch and local dignitaries. Doe met ons mee!
