Successful applicants will work for the Centre of Excellence in Terrorism, Resilience, Intelligence and Organised Crime Research (CENTRIC) at Sheffield Hallam University, in partnership with SERCO Plc as part of the UNITY Horizon 2020 funded research project.
You will work with the director of studies to design a programme of PhD research that contributes to the aims and objectives of this project.
UNITY research project
The aim of UNITY is to develop tools, procedures and technologies that help communities
- gain an understanding of police and community priorities
- become a central part of identifying policing issues
- engage in the problem solving process to ensure shared priorities are addressed
Entry requirements
You should hold a strong undergraduate degree (2.1 or above) and ideally a relevant masters qualification or expectation of the same.
