It will be the 30th edition of the STAR Management Week. Themed “Aim High”, the highlights of the 2016 event are:
International Academic Event
The International Academic Event will take students to the University of Cologne and the Head Office of Ford in Cologne. This event focuses on the supply chain within a company, and will help students to get more knowledge about the subject and see how Ford puts this knowledge in practice.
Alphasights Premium Activity
This event is the most spectacular recruitment event of the STAR Management Week 2016. 25 RSM students will spend a day at the office of the biggest knowledge consultant in London.
Honorary Discussions
Students will share their ideas and interact with over 30 captains of industry such as the CEOs of KPMG, Coca Cola, Ziggo, ING and RedBull.
Customer Experience Seminar
This seminar will be about how companies have shifted from a product economy to a service economy. Everything within companies gets build around experience. There will be speakers from Michael Kors, Transavia, KPN and BMW, who have influenced the Experience Economy.
International Career Event
The International Career Event is open for all international students. They will get the opportunity to participate in recruitment activities from companies that are internationally oriented. The activities differ from corporate games to an international lunch.
Get Started: Experience the world of startups
This event offers students the possibility to take the first steps in realising an idea. They will focus on trying to generate an idea and pitch it for a panel of start-ups. There will also be inspiring lectures from start-up CEO’s.
Highway to Success Opening
The opening will inspire our students, it will be about how they are able to find their path to success in the upcoming years. Katja Staartjes, the first female climber of the Mount Everest will tell her story to show that the possibilities are infinite. Besides her, Frank Sluis, Vice President Finance Europe of Unilever and Madelon van der Tol, Marketing Director of Unilever, will talk about climbing the way up the corporate ladder and achieving success within a multinational company.
